The BBC will tomorrow launch a new-look iPlayer that unifies its video and radio content in one interface.
Previously, when listening to radio programmes using the BBC's Listen Again service, you would be presented with a completely different interface from that of the iPlayer download console or that on the iPlayer website.
The new-look service will launch in beta tomorrow and will run alongside the existing iPlayer for the next few weeks, according to the BBC.
One of the major differences in the new service is that people listening to radio programmes will be able to skip forwards and backwards in the same way they would watching a show on iPlayer.
Erik Huggers, the BBC's group controller for Future Media and Technology, said: "Audiences are now able to experience the full range of BBC content – some 250 TV programmes currently available each week as well as all the BBC radio networks – in a new and more accessible way, and all for free," he continued.
The BBC also said that the iPlayer had received over 100 million requests to view programs since its official launch on Christmas Day 2007.
