I have a 30 gig boot drive. I want to clone it to an 80 gig. What is the best way to do this? I use to use ghost, but it has been an good long time. I'm worried that if i ghost a smaller partition over a large partition I'll end up corrupting the entire table.

Why not create a 30 gig partition on the 80 gig drive then repartion the drive to the full 80 afterwards.

Damn!  That's what I thought, but wasn't confident enough to suggest it!

The Acronis Disk director didn't do the job. Vista complained when i booted off the cloned partition. But, when i used the true image software I was able to clone the exact partition onto the new hard drive and then expand the partitian inside the disc management panel in vista. Thank you for the tip sandra. I've never used Acronis before. It worked like a charm.
