still though you could easily mistake it for the other kind of card reader - but if it swallowed my card I'd simply eject my card and notify the people - it just doesn't look legit does it! I like the barclays units as they have a specific look about them. there has to be a simple way the banks could stop these things being fitted.

Yes, no one is going to fit one in busy areas, in broad daylight, so they'd only need to check once a day.  I guess the machines in more out of the way places could be more vulnerable.

From what I've seen, it's mainly after hours that these are added and later removed....difficult for the staff to check then  >:(
Reverse the polarity, it'll be fine !
