Here is a copy of the email from Richard Himself :rofl:
When I last wrote to you I mentioned I would be in touch about our brand new, free service, V Stuff. Well V Stuff is here and ready for you to download.

Some of our best ideas at Virgin Media come about because you tell us how to change things for the better. So when you told us backup and storage was important to you we created ‘V Stuff’. It’s a really easy, secure way to back up all your most treasured files, automatically. Once you’re activated, you can securely access it from any computer, anywhere. What’s more, you can use V Stuff to get digital prints of your photos for free*.

No other broadband provider offers such a fantastic backup and storage service like this for free.

Your files at your fingertips
There’s 5GB for you to back up and store whatever you like, whether that’s music, documents, photos or film. Which means you could free up space on your PC to speed it up. Access it all wherever you are, from any computer. View and share photo albums, watch videos and listen to streamed music whenever you want.

Safe and sound
Choose the files and folders you want kept safe and we’ll back them up automatically. Add some more, make changes here and there – whatever you do, V Stuff keeps them secure. It’s great for making sure your valuable memories are safe. I know there are pictures of my family and trips that I’ve done which I would hate to lose

So would this be vault space as you call it?

I don't think it's webspace, but vault space, Simon. If it is webspace, then:

<html>
   <head>
      <title>No Browsing</title>
   </head>
   <body>
      <h1>No Browsing</h1>
   </body>
</html>

Cut'n'paste and save as index.html.

I don't understand this :dunno: can you expalin please

It's just a way of stopping uninvited guests from viewing the files on your webspace, Kaz.  If you right click the following smiley:  , and select Properties, you'll see it reveals my webspace address with IDNet.  If you thought you'd be clever, though, and see what other files I have in my 'smileys' folder, by trying to browse to my webspace address, you'll see my preventative measures.  This is what Rik was referring to above, which could be a simple 'No Browsing' message, or an image, as in my case.

I don't quite know what 'vault space' is, so Rik will have to explain that, but it seems that you don't need to protect your files in the same way as with webspace.

Hope that's clear!  :)

Vault space is dedicated storage space, not designed to be used as a web site.

That's just another 'blocking' page, Kaz.  It's been 'under construction' for about six years now!  ;D

So what is a holding page then what would you want to put on it and who will see it

You can put what you like there, Kaz, I just slung on a few photos and the link to the Dunblane memorial. It could easily have been just a text message. It's just a page to 'fill' the link, without being a finished product. In truth, I don't think I have anything to put on display that the world would be interested in.

Why would you want one of these then what is the point of it?  Can anyone have one?
