New issue...
« on: June 22, 2009, 18:43 »
Simon I had taken your advice and downloaded Gimp, photo editing program. It was good but was causing problems with computer. My computer is almost 7yrs old, Dell 256 mp, hard drive 60GB, kinda have to baby it, can't handle too much I guess.
Anyway...I uninstalled the gimp, and ever since then when I am not on the for awhile a window opens and it is saying...SCR~ 1 has encountered a problem and needs to close. Only that symbol after the R is higher then where it is here. So...what do I do now? Otherwise I have no problems with computer. Oh...one thing I just remembered also, I just got a new Samsung camera BL1050, I downloaded the software that comes with it, it has a great photo editing program with it. Thanks..

Hi Sharon,

As you've said this happens after a period of inactivity, I believe SCR is referring to whatever screensaver you have active.  Try right clicking on your desktop background, select Properties, select Screen Saver and change the screen saver to something other than what it currently is.  :)

Simon..you were right it was the screensaver I was using.  I had just put it on a couple days ago, it was a pic of the the new Nisson Cube we had just gotten. I was disappointed I had to take it off, oh well...Thanks again.
