You will have to check your Outlook settings GK.  Make sure nothing has changed or become corrupted.  It should be mail.btinternet.com

Somehow the settings in your email client have changed
REset the settings and try again

if you get the warning unable to send then it means the settings are wrong

Go to options and make sure all the settings are as you want them looks like the attachment settings have changed as well as your SMTP settings

              BT Yahoo account

    *  The POP3 server (incoming mail) is mail.btinternet.com
    * The SMTP server (outgoing mail) is also mail.btinternet.com
    * Both need your BT Yahoo! email address and password; you will have to tell your e-mail program that the SMTP server requires authentication.
    * The SMTP server can use either port 25 or port 587.

These are all the servers BT has one might look familiar

BTClick    mail.btinternet.com
BT.Com    mail.btinternet.com
BT Connect    pop3.btinternet.com
BT Internet    mail.btinternet.com
