Three tortoises Jim, Ray, and Geoff go for a picnic ten miles from where they live, it takes them 10 whole days to get there.
When they arrive they find that they have forgotten the bottle opener. Jim and Ray decide to ask Geoff to fetch it as he was meant to remember it.
Geoff says, "No way! By the time I get back you'll have eaten all the sandwiches!". Jim and Ray promise not to eat all the sandwiches so Geoff agrees to go.
Ten days pass and Geoff has not returned, 20 days and still no sign of Geoff. Jim and Ray are by this point absolutely starving, but maintain their promise to not eat the sandwiches.
On the 25th day Jim and Ray decide, "Sod it, we're gonna starve to death if we don't eat", and so they proceed to eat the sandwiches, when all of a sudden, Geoff jumps out from behind a bush and says, "I bloody knew it, I'm not going now"!!
