bit off topic here but something that ruined it for me years ago was, can you remember the original Pink Panther cartoon? well when our kids were younger you tend to watch tv with them    as you do....and they had made an updated version of The Pink Panther...........but he spoke   

I thought, WTF, theyve killed this, totally ruined it for me.of course the kids didnt see why as they dont know the original

I agree about the talking PP, Baz, but there was one I saw, which I can't remember the details of, only that it was hysterically funny!
