indeed, but battery tech is always getting better now... promising for electric cars too... though I liked the idea that Top Gear did last week :-D

Interesting to note that, on the DECT phones I replaced last week, battery life has doubled using the same batteries.

Mine are usually on the base, so I have no idea how long the batteries would last.

I got six days from the more used handset and 8 from the less used. Previously, three days is the best I could achieve.

My trouble is, if they're not on the base, I can't find them!

I started using cordless in the days of NiCads, so tend not to keep them on the base. I've never mislaid one, but I have to phone Sue's regularly when she does.
