Tiscali has ceased to exist with new owner TalkTalk finally killing off the brand after buying it in July 2009.
TalkTalk has also standardised tariffs across the board, saying that the majority of customers will see a reduction in their bills, though admitting that in some cases prices could rise.
"From today, the Tiscali brand is no more and we're committed to giving all of our customers absolute clarity about who we are, the services we provide and the prices we charge," Charles Dunstone, chief executive officer of TalkTalk.
"We've reviewed all of the pricing tariffs and can say from today that if you're with TalkTalk you're getting the same value as your fellow customers. For many of our customers this will mean a reduction in their monthly bills, others will see no change with the remainder getting a small increase," Dunstone continued.
TalkTalk has 4.1 million broadband customers in the UK, having previously acquired the AOL brand before purchasing Tiscali, which had itself taken over Pipex and Bulldog.
