That was one program I loathed with an intensity most people couldn't even begin to comprehend.  My parent's watched it; I used to go and find something more interesting to do, like watching the lawn grow - wishing the entire cast of the show was beneath it.

I found it quite enjoyable at the time, and fondly remember the embarrassment at pulling up outside a pub in my Ford Capri, and getting stuck while trying to emerge from the window, only to the amusement of a gathering crowd of giggling onlookers.  Needless to say, my cool-o-meter dropped a couple of notches that evening.
