This is a favourite object of amateur and professional astronomers alike.  It's a shame that the write-up makes it as clear as mud exactly where epsilon is.  Look for the unmistakable isosceles triangle of stars beneath Capella which is clearly labelled in the diagram (but not in the sky  ;D).  Epsilon is the star at the top of the triangle.  You will be surprised how easy it is to identify.
