Over the years we've discussed the possible health risks of cellphone and other microwave radiation: studies from Israel and Sweden indicating a link between cellphone use and cancer, one from England exonerating cell towers as a cause of "microwave radiation sensitivity," and a recent 30-year Swedish study that found no link to cancer. The question won't go away though.

I think you have to do all things in moderation. The link will not go away any time soon so it's wise not to walk around with your mobile glued to your ear!

I tend to use a hands free kit most of the time (not one of the ones that goes in your ear), which I guess must be deemed a little safer.  Does a Bluetooth signal not carry the same 'dangers'?  It doesn't ever seem to get a mention in articles like this.  :dunno:

bluetooth is pretty energy efficient.

In fact none of these are too much to worry about as the power from the transmitted drops off a 1/r^2 so fairly quickly. But yeah having it attached to your head all day is not a good idea, I guess.

You probably get zapped more by a cathode ray telly.
