I remember having to buy and use a lawn sprinkler that year.  I've never had to use it since!   :bawl:

Really?  I'm not on a water meter so a ban would not prevent me from watering the lawn should I need to.  My current water bill is £603 for the year which I think is outrageous.  >:(

I thought mine was high at £279  :o
It seems strange that its calculated on the rateable value of the property, unless you are on a meter , yet they dont give the 25% single occupier discount on it that you get on the rates. Obviously one person in the property will use a lot less water than 2 or more would use  >:(

Considering how much rain we get in Wales it's a lot to pay.  I can't really see any justification for it.   :(

I'm at £324 on a meter. It would be double that without the meter.

I have resisted having a meter installed as I suppose I use more than my fair share of water.

I guess the sheep dip uses quite a bit.

The sheep dip takes a serious amount of water if it has to be drained and refilled!  But in normal circumstances the rain usually keeps it topped up quite nicely.
