My 1TB drive was £69-99 from Aldi last week. Its a standard 3.5 inch drive in a standard sized enclosure so its not as small as the ones Sams talking about but it has E-sata which is what I wanted for the extra speed, 1200mbps compared to USB 2 at 480mbps.

yeah it was the reduced size that I wanted.

I can't wait for large scale production of small large solid state drives. We really need this for work - its annoying having to post 50TB of disks!
