Google releases new stable Chrome

Google has released a new, stable version of its Chrome browser for Windows, Mac and Linux.

You will find it is much faster than the previous release

I ran it in beta and it is fantastic


Just wait untill the present beta is released  :thumbs:

Google uses Beta releases as a form of updating
All updated releases have been run in beta to get rid of the bugs

I just wish firefox and others would do this

I thought they did.. .but they are probably not publicly available - google likes to use actual users as beta testers.

firefox need a complete redesign to fork the processes... big job but the only way for them to get the stability/speed of Chrome.

in all fairness, we do expect a lot from our webbrowsers these days... gone are the days of just parsing a little bit of text and some images.
