O2 reveals iPhone 4 prices
« on: June 18, 2010, 22:25 »
O2 has become the latest mobile operator to unveil its prices for the iPhone 4, intriguingly offering the handset at a cheaper up-front cost on shorter contracts.

The 16GB version will cost £209 on a £30, 18-month contract, and £279 on a £25 a month, two year contract. The 32GB version will start from £299 on the 18-month contract and £323 on the two-year contract.

The 16GB version can be had for free on a two-year, £60 a month contract.

The Apple iPhone 4 will also be available on business contracts, starting from £100 for the 16GB version and £172 for the 32GB version.

I had one, and it only had a £500 limit on it.  Wouldn't get you far these days.   ;D

I think my first card had a £250 limit, but that was in the days when cash dispensers only gave you £10.

Yup, and the card only had a finite number if uses, then you had to apply for a new one.

It wasn't a card for me, it was a set of 'cheques' which you placed in a drawer in the machine. It then read the cheque and, if all was well, handed you a tenner in return.

I had a card, and with each use, the machine punched a little 'dot' in the card.  When you reached so many dots, the card was retained.
