Solihull Moors 3 - 1 Chorley   >:(

Listened to the match on Magpiewatch.  Glad I didn't go - strong at home, but a very poor away side.  At least we finished with all eleven players on the field!

Maidstone 4 - 1 Leiston, well they aren't league leaders for nothing with Avg gates of 2000  >:(

Mind you 0 -1 after 5 mins then 2 -1 after 45 mins then we miss a penalty could have been a totally different game if that pen had gone in.

Massive game today - the final qualifying round of the FA Cup vs Halifax Town at home.  Expecting a crowd of 2000+.

Chorley Football Club is apparently being featured on Football Focus at 12:15 on BBC 1 today!

 Chorley 0-0 FC Halifax Town.

Attendance 2,333 - including a respectable 487 who made the trip across the Pennines from Halifax.

A hard fought game with very few chances for either side.  Not much else to say, really.

Replay will be on Tuesday night at The Shay, Halifax.

FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round Replay:

FC Halifax Town 5 - 0 Chorley

Was never going to happen - a team that never loses at home against one of the poorest away sides you will see.  Doesn't help when your main striker is sent off on 19 minutes with a straight red.  I've lost count of the number of sending offs this season.  We must surely be the most ill-disciplined team in the country - it's every week.

Attendance was 1680, including 400 from Chorley.  I can't see this away following lasting much longer unless something drastically changes.

The new manager got off to a flyer last night. Leiston 3 - 0 Grays Athletic.

And the new manger is former Col U player Richard Wilkins.

Gainsborough Trinity 3 - 4 Chorley.

Listened in on magpiewatch.

A four goal spell in 11 first half minutes secured all three points.  Gainsborough came back strongly in the second half to make injury time more like squeaky bum time!

Most importantly, we finished the game with eleven men!

FA Trophy Leiston 2 - 2 Leighton replay next Tuesday. 2 - 0 down but fought back to gain a very poor draw..plus I have never witnessed such a poor referee in my life..where do they get them from. Leiston player clean though on goal running towards goal and gets scythed down and the offending player was only cautioned  :-X

Chorley 1 - 2 Boston United.

A lesson in football at this level.  First home defeat of the season, but it's been coming.  No complaints.
