Stockport County 0 - 2 Chorley

Att 3411

Just back from the 30 mile jaunt to the other side of Manchester, along with the 700 or so who travelled from Chorley.   Stockport (10th) vs Chorley (9th).  Stockport odds-on favourites with the bookies, but we destroyed them.  If it wasn't for their keeper playing the game of his life the score would probably have been a world record, while the Chorley keeper only touched the ball once as far as I can remember.

Up to 7th now and back in the play-off places if we win our games in hand.

We took our biggest beating of the season with a 4 - 0 drubbing to Billericay , player sent off in the 1st half didn't help our cause  :bawl:

Massive match today for a place in the play-offs.  After the mid-week win at Leamington, we started the day in fifth, three points behind today's visitors with a game in hand and an identical goal difference.

Chorley 6 - 0 Tamworth

Att. 1392

Up to fourth now, level on 63 points with third placed Guiseley, who we have one game in hand of and play at Chorley on Tuesday night.

Tricky trip to the Humber today to play last week's FA Trophy winners who were bound to be on a high.

North Ferriby United 3 - 4 Chorley.

Some tricky games still to come starting at home on Monday against leaders, Barrow, but (barring a complete collapse) we should really be certain of a place in the play-offs now.

Today we played already relegated Bury Town FC and I can honestly say that was the worst game of football I have seen all season.

Leiston 0 v  1 Bury TFC

Bah bloody humbug.

Chorley 0 - 0 Barrow

Att. 2556

Tamworth and Guiseley both lost, so we now need two points from the last three games to guarantee a play-off place
