Played our local derby rivals (and in-form team in the league) from five miles up the A6 tonight.  Chorley 2 - 0 Bamber Bridge.   :)

We have just agreed a fee for another top notch striker to come on board for the remainder of this season and next year.. looks like the promotion charge is ON

Leiston Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of former striker Lee McGlone. Lee joined the Trawlerboys in the summer and was instrumental in their excellent early season form in the Ryman Premier Division. Unfortunately, work committments have restricted Lee's appearances at Crown Meadow and we are happy to have agreed an undisclosed fee for him. We would like to thank Terry Lynes (Lowestoft Town Secretary) for his work in releasing Lee in time for last night's fixture against Stanway Rovers in which Lee played his first ninety minutes for over five weeks. My thanks also to Chris Barker, Andy Crisp and Peter Mayhew for securing the paperwork side of the deal.

Although Leiston play tomorrow night, Dereham lost at home tonight 0 - 5 who are nearest rivals ...we must win... no pressure then  8-)
