The recently prolific Jon Sands was kept in check in an even second half that was spent mainly in midfield. On the two occasions he had half a sight of goal he fired high over Jamie Stannard's goal. The scorer of the only goal Michael Brothers burst clear just after the hour but failed to hit the target. A solid display for the visitors who were missing Neil Calver (suspended), Stuart Boardley (injured), Luke Hammond (injured) and leading scorer Gareth Heath (unavailable) but now need just nine points from as many games for the title.
