Chorley 0 - 1 Trafford Borough.  A disaster - looks like we''ll have to rely om the play-offs now.  :ack:

Mildenhall 0 - 1 Leiston

Leiston move to within nine points of the title
Mildenhall Town 0 Leiston 1

A third minute strike from Michael Brothers ensured three more points this time at inform and previously unbeaten since early January, Mildenhall Town. Brothers sweet strike from the edge of the box was the only real clear cut opening of the game as Leiston took full advantage of Dereham's goalless draw at home to CRC to move within nine points of the title.
A sweet third minute strike from Michael Brothers inflicted only a second defeat this calendar year on hosts Mildenhall Town as Leiston became only the second side this season to win at the Recway. For the visitors, the win moves them to within nine points of their first ever Premier League title. Attacking the slope Leiston took an early lead. Angelo Harrop's sweet pass found Danny Smy wide on the right and after he fed Michael Brothers, the Leiston midfielder took two touches before firing a sweet strike beyond Josh Pope from the edge of the box for his seventeenth goal of the season. The home side took their time to get into the game but gradually matched their opponents but on 35 minutes only a fantastic save from Josh Pope kept them in the game as Leiston skipper David Head met Danny Cunningham's cross. The recently prolific Jon Sands was kept in check in an even second half that was spent mainly in midfield. On the two occasions he had half a sight of goal he fired high over Jamie Stannard's goal. The scorer of the only goal Michael Brothers burst clear just after the hour but failed to hit the target. A solid display for the visitors who were missing Neil Calver (suspended), Stuart Boardley (injured), Luke Hammond (injured) and leading scorer Gareth Heath (unavailable) but now need just nine points from as many games for the title.

Leiston line-up: Stannard, Saker, P Brothers (Payne 88 mins), D Head, Goldfinch, Ottley-Gooch, Harrop (S Head 38 mins), Smy, McGlone, M Brothers, Cunningham (Block 81 mins).

Chorley 3 - 0 Cammel Laird.  Back on top of the form table but, unfortunately, not the league table.

Lets put a few dots and "Ts" to the last few games of the season

As Dereham lost last night  :leer:  this puts us in a favourable position to win the league!!

1 Scenario is that if Leiston win this week-end and Dereham lose we are Champions  ;D

Another plus is that Dereham have withdrawn there application to get promoted?

Maybe they now realise they won't get promoted, as there is only 1 team promoted from this league if the ground meets certain criteria
