Sorry to hear that, Terry.  All winning runs come to an end at some point.

Twenty matches unbeaten is something special.  I remember Chorley going seventeen unbeaten in the mid 1980s in the season we were promoted to the Conference, but, ManU and Arsenal excepted, I can't remember any other team in any league in the football pyramid managing twenty unbeaten.

I'm sure that blip will be forgotten when you win all remaining games this season and storm into the Premier Division, Terry.   ;)

I done my team an Injustice  :o:

Morsley is too long in the tooth to take anything for granted, even if his side are on a 25-game unbeaten run in the league, and within touching distance of back-to-back promotions.

Good luck, Terry.

Chorley away to Kendal Town today.  As I wouldn't even think of going near the M6 towards the Lake District on a Bank Holiday Monday and I'm not paying £16 on the train from Chorley, I'll be following both Chorley's and Leiston's matches on Twitter.

Kendal Town 1 - 2 Chorley.

As Northwich and Chester drew 1-1, Chester are champions and Northwich are virtually guaranteed second spot and a play-off place.  Of the other play-off places, we are now third and as Fc United of Manchester and Bradford Park Avenue both lost, we are all but there.

I'll now hand over to Terry, who will have more good news!   :)

Just to add, there were 5009 on at Chester today.  Must be a record attendance at this level of football.

Edit:  I've just been reliably informed that the actual record is held by Wigan Athletic, who had a gate of over 8000 vs Stafford Rangers in the 1960s!
