Chorley 0 - 1 North Ferriby United.  Lost to an injury time winner to the league leaders.  Could have ended our chance of a play off place as we would need to win 16 out of 24 games to get 75 points (75 points usually put a team in the play offs) but I can't see where the next win is coming from.

Match today at home.  The two best supported, but under performing teams in the league.

Result:  Chorley 1 - 2  FC United of Manchester.

Attendance: A very disappointing 1130.  As FCUM usually take 1000 away, god knows how few Chorley fans turned up.  I wasn't there as I have a very bad cold.

Got to start thinking about avoiding relegation now, because if the teams below us win just half of their games in hand of us, we are almost in the relegation mix.

Postponed yesterday.  Should have been away at Buxton, but with Buxton being the highest town in England at over 1,000 feet, it was never going to be fit to play in the current weather.  Still, at least we didn't lose!  Mind you, didn't stop us sliding further down the table as the teams in seventh and eight both won one of their games in hand of us and overtook us.  At the moment, looking at the games in hand others have over us, we should be thirteenth.  As an example, AFC Fylde are one point behind us, but have six games in hand and Buxton, in thirteenth, are five points behind us with five games in hand, yet some idiots here think we might make the play-offs.  I know these teams underneath will take points off each other, but at worst they only need to win 40% of their games in hand to overtake us.  We're fooked!   >:(

Ilkeston Town 1 - 0 Chorley

One point from the last 21 in the league.  To be honest, without checking, I can't remember the last time we won.  Must have been late September or early October.

Chorley 1 - 1 Stocksbridge Park Steels.

A solitary point against the only side in the league that has played more games than us and has just fifteen points from their 24 matches.  To make it worse, SPS played half the match with ten men.

Just not good enough.  Down to tenth now, but with teams below us having up to six games in hand and only being one or two points behind, our real league position is around fifteenth.
