Last night: Leiston 2 - 1 Thurock.

Leiston are now safe and cannot be relegated  :thumbs:

After the long Journey down to Lewes I can report that Leiston came away with a very good 0 - 1 win  :thumbs:

Yeah, the harsh prolonged winter has certainly taken its toll.  The Northern Premier League has actually extended the season by an extra week.  As we no longer get anything like a summer in this place any more, I don't know why the football authorities don't move the season to April to November.  It isn't as if it would affect summer sport as the vast majority of cricket matches are rained off these days.  >:(

Sunday afternoon KO (15:00 against league leaders Whitehawk who if they beat Leiston will be crowned league champions this afternoon...hopefully I will only miss the 1st 10 mins  ;D
