Leiston manager Mark Moresly has won his 2nd manager of the month on the trot and the third this season

Quote
LEISTON’S Mark Morsley has scooped his third Macron Manager of the Month award in just four months.

Morsley, whose side are eight points clear at the top of Ryman League Division One North, was today announced as the March winner for the division.

It is the second award in as many months for Morsley and is just reward for leaders Leiston’s continued good form as they are currently unbeaten in 25 League games and on course for promotion to the Premier Division in their first season at Step 4 level.

Managers of the month in the other divisions went to Craig Edwards of Premier Division leaders Billericay Town and Dulwich Hamlet’s Gavin Rose, whose side lead Division One South.

Big Big weekend coming up?

Saturday: Tilbury v Leiston....Tilbury are 5th in th etable and fighting for a play off place.

Monday: Leiston v Needham Market...Needham are 3rd in the table and are looking to gain some revenge after we trashed them 0 - 5 over at there place...there is no love lost between these 2 sides  :o:

If everything goes to plan..we could in theory wrap the league title on Monday  :D

Chorley 3 - 2 Chasetown.

With Hednesford losing again, we are now eight points clear of sixth place and are virtually guaranteed a play-off place.  With FC United of Manchester losing and Bradford Park Avenue and Marine only managing draws, third place looks a possibility, although we have to play Chester (who need just one more point for the title) and Bradford at our place, so there is still plenty to play for.
