Buxton 1 - 1 Chorley.

Now mathematically impossible to make the play-offs.

What can I say, 2 - 0 up with with 10 mins to go and game ended 2 -2 ,  3 years back and this would have been seen as a brilliant result, this just show how far we have come when we go home dissapointed with a result like this.

Well done, Leiston.  A great effort for the first season at that level.   :thumb:

I've been slagging Chorley FC off on Twitter all weekend for cancelling a pre-season friendly against Charnock Richard, a village side just a mile out of Chorley who play in the West Lancashire League - community spirit and all that. Now I'm eating humble pie as it has been replaced by a match against a Manchester United XI.

The "Leiston" team is virtually unrecognisable from last season with only a hand full left, the new manager is certainly making his mark.

Looks like a lot of dosh is being thrown about to get us to the conferencece?
