A man joins a monastery where the monks are only permitted to speak two words a year. His room is freezing so he uses his first years words to say "More blankets". So the Abbott gets him some more blankets.
The second year arrives and the monk is unhappy about the food rations. "More food" he says. The Abbott gets him more food.
By the third year he's really had enough so he says "I'm leaving". The Abbott says "Thank Christ for that, you've done nothing but moan since you got here".
