I've never physically attacked a computer.  Good grief - could I be turning into a pacifist?

How is it, though, that a machine can seemingly be deliberately annoying?  I feel that a certain amount of violence is justified for 'training purposes'.

I wonder if the number of assaults rose when Micro$oft introduced Vista?
