This will also affect the Pogues Fairytale of New York.  PC gone mad.   :dunno:

When I win a sufficiently large sum of money on the Lottery I'm gonna buy my own island, and I'm going to ban:

Political correctness
Conservative clothing
Party politics
non-smoking indoors (If non-smokers want fresh air then they can bloody well go outside where there's an abundance of it)
non-drinking
Corporate control
Copyright law

Did I miss anything?

Steve

I'd go with all of that, except the smoking.   ;D

Generally everyone gets that I don't like smoking around me, however, I'm not sure why the pubs for example didn't just have smoking rooms - didn't they use to?

then again, it was all about employee safety so I guess that doesn't go away, but big giant fans help.

Many pubs still have it etched in glass on the door - "Smoke Room"!

They still have smoke rooms.  They just call it a beer garden.  ;)

Personally, I haven't been to a pub since I got back to the UK - so I don't really care :D

I probably go in one three or four times a year.  25 years ago, it was three or four times a week!

Clive's thinking of something entirely different now.
