There's a few there I enjoyed.

I don't tend to go back much further than the 70s with films, so a lot of them were before my time, in that respect.

I go back more to the 60s, inevitably. TBH, though, I've never been a huge movie fan, in the past couple of months, I've probably watched about 8 films on Sky Movies. It's now cancelled, but if I go back next Xmas, I'd bet that I wouldn't find more than a handful to catch up on.

I watch films to be entertained.  I don't expect to take anything much away from them, and I can't say that a movie has ever changed my life.  I don't watch them with the eye of the critique either.  Bombs, blood, car chases and tits will do me fine!

I tend to go for films, and books, where the characters are strongly developed.

It's got to grab my attention within the first 20 mins, or I tend to give up.  I can usually get a 'feel' for a movie by then.

I used to be a real avid years ago but not anymore.  I'm tempted by Brighton Rock and Chalet Girl but I'd like to see some reviews first.

The King's Speech is top of my shortlist atm.
