Anybody using BT Yahoo Mail? a cautionary tale!
« on: August 23, 2011, 22:01 »
My wife updated to the latest version & promptly lost all emails between July !5th and August 22nd. I emailed BT Yahoo Mail, they phoned me
" People have been having some problems such as losing email content, this is caused by the Yahoo Server Update,if you change back to Mail Classic you should not have any more problems"
Well that was a great help to my wife who now has no  evidence of any of her business emails between the dates July15th/August 22nd

That's why the only thing that ever gets updated on any of my three computers is the anti-virus.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

And that's one reason why I don't use Webmail.  If something is that important, don't trust someone else to look after it for you.  ;)
Many thanks to all our members, who have made PC Pals such an outstanding success!   :thumb:

I was offered the upgrade but declined.  Thanks very much for the head's up!

TBH, she'd be better off registering a domain and running hosted email - it's only about £14pa and looks much more professional.
Slainthe!
