Probably the most uncompetitive telecoms company on the planet.  I get my line, anytime calls to landlines and unlimited internet for little more than BT's Line Rental.

mobile phones must be killing them for calls too.

Have to admit, I hardly ever use my landline to make calls, and if it wasn't for having to have it for broadband, I'd probably bin it.

We only got a phone with Virgin as it made out package cheaper ..

They have priced themselves out of the market.  But of course they offer such splendid service!

My interest is whether this is a wholesale or retail price increase. The last two have been retail, and IDNet kept its charges unchanged, a wholesale increase will leave them with no option but to follow suit.

That wouldn't be good news.

No, but it would be the first increase in almost two years.

I'm tied in to this lot for the next eight months at a fixed rate.  It's saving me at least £72 per annum over my previous agreement with BT and I get better service.

Plastic cups linked together with a piece of string would give you a better service than BT Gill.
