Bruce was an Australian stockman and, having met the girl of his dreams, decides to get wed. His prospective father-in-law says that he will deal with all aspects of the wedding but that he'll have nothing to do with organizing the honeymoon.
"That's down to you, mate." he tells Bruce.
"Righto" thinks Bruce, "I'll organize a bonza bash."
He decided to spare no expense and settled on an hotel in Alice Springs, over a hundred miles away. He hopped in his 'ute and drove over there, thinking that he might get a better deal if he booked in person. A few hours later, he swaggered up to the cute receptionist and says:
"Me an' Betty's gettin' married next month and I wanna book a real nice room for our weddin' night. I'd like flowers in the room, some chocolates for Betty and a case o' cold ones for me. Oh, and yeah, it'll have to have a nice strong bed." He gave the receptionist a long, slow wink.
"The receptionist blushed and said: "Oooh, I guess you'll be wanting the bridal then?"
Bruce replies: "Nah, that'll be alright, I'll just hang onto her ears 'til she gets used to it!"
