My Status Bar keeps disappearing! I then click Views, select Status Bar, and it comes back, but disappears again later on!
Does anyone else have this oddity, or can anyone think of a way to make the Status Bar stick where it is? :- :-";"xx

It's could be that your browser has been hi-jacked, Simon. This possibility is indicated by the inability to permanently save settings to the registry.

It may be, that since MSIE and Windows are closely integrated, your general windows settings are conflicting with the browser window settings. Check and confirm (OK) your win settings and see whether it has the desired effect. If that doesn't work, I'd seek the advice of a grown-up.
