After years of wrangling, a deal between entertainment industry bodies and UK internet service providers to help combat piracy is imminent.

You get four warnings of increasing severity then...nothing. That'll deter all but the most serious dodgy downloaders i'm sure  :)x

There was an excellent article in yesterday's Telegraph explaining that the artistes don't care about piracy these days because they make far more money from touring, opening supermarkets and singing at parties.  Beyonce earns $1million a pop for a half hour slot  at a Saudi Arabian wedding.   :o

 :o  I'll be terrified by an " educational " letter but if I see any language that has  "escalated in severity" i'll not be happy...thats rude.

I could just blame one of the kids in the house.

So did i read it right that the rights holders pay the isp's to provide this service?

And also,even though its been suspected for ages, they have said that they will be listening in to networks   tut  tut

I think those who need to worry are using BT, Sky, Talk Talk or Virgin.  The rest of us are safe.   :o:
