Somewhat off-topic but I'm on the committee of our local University of the Third Age and this new legislation has triggered enormous resentment.  We have lost members directly as a result of it (they cite increasing red tape which 'taints the well') and we cannot recruit a Chairman to take responsibility for overseeing it.
There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is readily adopted.

I'm not surprised, Gill.  It's an absolute minefield.  We have only done here what we think (and hope) are the basics to be compliant.
