keyboard configuration

My friends keyboard's @comes up" and vice verca. I think there is a way of changing it back to normal keyboard setting but I don't know how to do it.  Any advice? :)

Its set to the default USA English Lona.
Just go to Control Panel and open Regional and Language options.
It will be in advanced on XP (I think you said she was on XP the other night)delete the US English and add English UK,it will say it cant do it until next time it restarts so just reboot and it should be sorted  :-*
