Anyone know how to prevent grey message box appearing on desktop at boot up, displaying cartridge usage. I have tried to click "do not show this again" but it appears at bootup every time.?

I've never used a Lexmark, Lona, but I would guess that some sort of status monitor is loading at startup. Have a look in your startup programs (in Win98: Programs . System Tools > System Information > Startup tab) and if anything is in there, removing the tick should do it. Otherwise, I haven't a clue, but I'm sure someone will know.

I've never used a Lexmark either, but if you go into your Control Panel, find the Printer icon, right click on it, and go into Properties, you might find something in there, if you go through all the settings. That's where I found it on my Epson.
