Last night Radio 3 played
Sleep by Max Richter. Apparently it's the longest continuous piece of music ever written
(unless, of course, one of you fine chappies knows better ), lasting
8 hours. I listened to it when I went to bed last night, leaving it to run its course without setting my player to switch itself off after half an hour, which is what I usually do. I enjoyed the best night's sleep I've had for months!
If anyone would like a copy, pm me and I'll make arrangements but be prepared - it's a 1.2 Gb file!
