I was never a fan until we went to see a 60s show in Llandudno.

I think we went to see P J Proby and Brian Hyland but top of the Bill was Gerry and the Pacemakers and he blew me away he was so good.  :rip: Gerry
Fourth in the 2018 Quiz of the Year but at least I beat Clive.

I saw him on the Beatles/Roy Orbison tour at the Cardiff Capitol in 1963.  Gerry and the Pacemakers opened the second half.  I saw him again at a 1960s concert in St David's Hall in the 90s when he was with Brenda Lee, Eden Kane, Peter Sarstedt and John Leyton.
