Annoying pop ups
« on: September 01, 2023, 13:04 »
Hi,
I hope someone may be able to help me here, I only use my laptop for veiwing various forums / ebay / facebook etc.
I also spend hours on end watching youtube, mainly fishing and boating stuff and anything i might need some guidance with..
But i keep getting these two very annoying pop ups whilst doing anything, even almost instantly on bootup and it's driving me mad, the thing is it is audible which is sometimes really constant, sometimes the pop up will come onto my screen whatever i'm doing, other times there will be a pile of them for me to have to delete when coming off said page.
I have attached an image of these pop ups hoping someone may be able to suggest a quick fix thats easy for me to follow...
many thanks for any help/advice keith

cheers kro.....

First I would download and run Malwarebytes free and see what that finds and then download Adblock Plus.

Here is the link for Malwarebytes which has found more malware than all the paid for antivirus software I've ever used put together.

https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download

And Adblock Plus is https://adblockplus.org/

And if using windows, make sure windows security is running and up-to-date
