new system
« on: April 30, 2003, 14:49 »
The time has finally come and i now have to bite the bullet and get a new system. have been trawling the net and come across a company called multivision.co.uk which seem to offer some good deals.

So here at last is the question, has anbody had any dealings with this company or even heard anything of them?
Thanks in advance for any info on this.

Not heard of them but looks a nice system Mustapha.
There was me thinking I had gone all upmarket on my new 1.3ghz Athlon which I bought yesterday as a bare bones PC for £75 and gutted my 450mhz to get it working  ::)

By the way you never commented on the full Crazy.swf sig I did for you  :-*

This month's PC Pro mag has a review of the Multivision Ionix Ultima, which they quite liked, but thought it couldn't compete with the Evesham equivalet.

The pretty black case is also quite practical as it has a hinged side panel allowing the motherboard, complete with expansion cards and wiring to be swung out for access to the internal components. The illuminated blue strip at the front is quite nice too ;)

Do you have any idea which model you are thinking of buying Mustapha?

Hiya Adept, as i'm so flush with dosh (i wish) i was thinking of going for the Ionix R95. Mainly because it has a 2 year on site warranty and you get a proper Microsoft O/S system disk.

Mind you the spec of the comp is 100 times better than what i have now.

That looks a lovely system Mustapha.  I don't think you can go wrong with that.  The two year warranty is very good too.

Looks like it has the seal of approval so just got a few more pennies to save and that's the one.

Just not so sure of the colour, but that's a minor detail.
Thanks for the help guys and gals, let you know when i get it. :thanks:

Well, i've ordered it. Only difference is the graphics card, they now supply the ATI 9600 instead of the 9500.

All i have to do now is WAIT,  :brick:
