Topic: Pc which keeps giving a 40 second shut down warning

My Mother's PC, when going online, pops up a error saying something like "NT authorization system error" and gives you 40 seconds to save any work before it shuts down...theres nothing you can do to stop it!...

Details, XP , only thing installed recently was Freeserve kit. Been running fine for over a day and now its suddenly doing this.

Any help at all?, thanks

I don't think I've ever heard of anything like this before  An exact error message would be helpful here I think.

If you could tell us a little more about the PC: processor type and memory size could possibly help us solve the problem for you

Just 20 minutes ago I got the message Windows must restart as something or other has terminated unexpectadly. Solution for me was to go into services and make windows do nothing when that happened   But now I've lost my right click functions, bahh
