Quicktime
« on: August 05, 2003, 21:02 »
Has anyone had problems with Quicktime interfering with other programmes.  Whenever Quicktime is activated on my PC, I lose my scanner and have to re-install :(

Can't say I have Lona :( The only problem I ever had with Quicktime is installing all the different versions that my Son's games require.

What model of scanner do you have?

It's an HP750 all in one printer/scanner.  I don't lose the printer but a message comes up saying scanner not found.

I'm not really sure how Quicktime could be related to a HP750 scanning function Lona.

Have you tried downloading the latest drivers for it from hp.com ?

Yes I seem to remember talking you through installing it recently.

I'll check HPs knowledgebase to see if I can find anything for you :)

Hi Lona,

Sorry, I can't help you. But I just want to tell you that I have HP Multifunction, and I have no problem.

I have "HP PSC 2210 All in one" with five functions: "Printer, Scanner, Digital camera cards, Photocopier and Fax". I've just installed "QuickTime 6.3" especially for you. I have Windows XP Home edition.....I have no problem.

Sorry not to be able to help more.

I've just noticed this thread as I had given up hope of an answer ;D

The HP all-in-one model is HP psc 750, Adept. It's not an officejet. I found the knowledge base article I needed and have connected it into direct power supply instead of multi-point connection. Here's hoping I have no more problems. :)
