Yes, I think you'll find it will work much better if it set as default Michelle.  I hadn't realised you hadn't done that, or I would have suggested it before.  

Camstop: It would just be nice to have both browsers operate in the same fashion..

Well, if everything worked the same, there would hardly be any point in trying something different!    Where's your sense of adventure??    You can make it as similar to IE as you like, even down to using an IE skin!  I'm not actually quite sure what you mean about having favorites always on display, Cammy.  You can use the Sidebar in Moz to display your Favorites folders, if that's what you mean (see below).  If that's not it, perhaps you could explain and myself or our other Moz expert, Tony, might be able to help.

Right well it happened again... the screen in moz went funny - and I couldn't do anything - I had ie up as well and that was fine - anyway so I uninstalled moz and reinstalled it and now I have those icons all over the place that lona was talking about. I didn't have them before, so hopefully it didn't install correctly before.

We will see .............  

Also ....... spy bot is bringing up loads of files with "backweb lite" on it, is this moz?

Moz does not contain any spyware, Michelle.  I did a quick search for "backweb lite", and what kept coming up was Logitech, then I found this:

Backweb / lite is a background downloading program , with the intention of downloading software updates, news, and other such data, computer manufacturers are installing it onto computer systems as part of a software package , although there are many other ways it can end up on your computer, with or without your knowledge, Logitech & Kodak have already included this generic background downloading program, into its own software / drivers packages, and there's a large list other companies considering using BackWeb for auto updates ect,

This software could be considered a perfectly harmless way of gathering information about users, and updating there software appropriately,

But personally, I would only trust them, as far as I could comfortably spit them and no further, I think the whole idea has a bad smell about it

I would let SpyBot remove it, but I can't understand how it got past your Spyware Blaster, if it is fully updated.

Re the Mozilla icons, you can change them with one of the methods posted earlier in this thread.

You do seem to have a persistant spyware problem on your PC, Michelle.  If it's not stuff you are downloading, it must be being generated by something you have installed on your computer.

Yeah it doesn't look good.  But guess what happened when I tried to run it again, it wouldn't open and I had to restart.  

Okay ........ lets see how it goes now I've got rid of that lot ! LOL  

I don't think my spyware blaster can be working - I must have a look at what it was clive suggested and try that.

I had backweb pre installed on PC Michelle, and I uninstalled it. Look in Add/remove and see if you have backweb and uninstall it.  It is a waste of space. I don't think Mozilla likes WinMe, Michelle.
