I checked the sounds in control panel, Adept last night and removed all sounds except windows start and close. That was because of your previous post about sounds.  I thought if I remove them that would resolve a conflict. :-\

I read about a similar problem in a PM mag today, Lona.  Their suggestion was to make sure IE knows it is the default browser.  To do this, go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs and tick the box to make IE check if it is the default browser.  Restart IE, and tick the box to say Yes, when it asks if it is the default.  Sorry if you've already done this.
