IE problems
« on: October 14, 2003, 19:49 »
For the last couple of days I've been having problems with IE- and before you say anything Simon, no, I'll leave mozilla alone for now ;D- but only when I first try to open it,it opens then freezes. I have to use ctrl-alt-del to clear it. Then it's fine. It doesn't matter if it's opened with an email link, task bar icon or off desktop. I've got IE 5.5 and ME. Any ideas?

Last time I used IE6 I had problems with a few sites, can't remember if it was this one or the "other one", maybe both so I'm a bit wary of it

I think you should do the upgrade Barra.  You are going to have to do it at some point aren't you?  I haven't heard of anyone having problems accessing the forum with IE6.  Be brave.   Sandra will hold your hand.  ;D

Check your Home Page, Barra.  Try it with the 'Use Blank' option.  It may be trying to open something iffy whan you start IE.  Just a thought.

Of course, you could always try Mo....  :-X ;D ;D

mmmm could be, but why would it just start freezing now, more than ever?

I thought that it must be something else on our computers that ME doesn't like?
