FLASH MX 2004 PRO update problem
« on: December 22, 2003, 00:20 »
hey guys, I need your help.
Basically I've got a trial version of FLASH MX 2004 Pro with a crack that works. However, macromedia have released a free patch to update stabilty problems in FLASH. I want that update but it won't work with my crack. My crack replaces two DLL files that the update doesn't recognise. So, if I crack first, the update doesn't install properly. If I update first, and then crack, I still can't run FLASH.
Any ideas, or somewhere I might find help?
thanks!

Hi and448, and

As Sandra said, we cannot discuss ways to pirate / crack software or media on here, but I believe using certain search words on Google can be useful for many things.  If you find anything, we don't want to know!   ;)
Many thanks to all our members, who have made PC Pals such an outstanding success!   :thumb:

Hi and 448.  :welcome:

As Simon said, Google (especially Google Groups) is always a useful place to find answers to problems, particularly problems such as your current problem.

Hope you get it sorted.  ;)

Hey guys, thanks very much for your help. I appreciate it very much and am also impressed by your diplomacy skills.
I have to say after writing that post yesterday I was concerned I'd would be woken up the next morning by FBI agents and Macromedia executives coming to arrest me and/or kill me for piracy.
Thus, partly through fear and your examples, I will not pursue this unlawful activity any longer, and will not use google, or google groups, as useful as they may be, for the aquirement of any crack or any kind of piracy software or hardware.
However, for the sake of education and prevention, please feel free to carry on the thread, to find out more about organized crime on the web, and indeed, how to avoid it.
thank you
