When I lived in Washington we had a lovely border collie (Captain) and he was in the garden one day when the young girl next door was reading a newspaper article to him  :)
She said it says here Captain that you are the most intelligent dog in the world, but he didnt ssem to take much notice, just wagged his tail a lot  :)

Like the Chinese, dogs are inscrutable Sandra.  Just name me one dog you could possibly scrute.  Ah-ha!  I thought not.  I rest my case.
