How big is yours
« on: February 03, 2004, 19:33 »
come on keep your mind out of the gutter  ;).

At the moment I'm experimenting on resolution sizes, of late I have noticed more & more websites not fitting my 17" screen.
So have opted for 1024 x 768 other than 800 x 600, at 1st I have found everything sooooooooo small but am now getting used to it.

What do you have or am I going mad  ;D

1024x768 on my 15" laptop and 1152x864 on my PC's 17" monitor.

I like a lot of desktop space especially when programming. If I could afford a better screen I would like to run my desktop @ 1600x1200 :o

Probably a better alternative would be to have two screens, but I just don't have the space :(

I still use 800 x 600.  I tried 1024 x 768, but, like you Hook, I find everything too small.  I haven't come across many websites which don't fit the screen, but Mozilla resizes large images to fit in the browser window, so I don't know if that helps.

Its fair to say that 1024x768 is the standard these days.

I have tried bigger, but I couldn't get my monitor refresh rate high enough for my liking, so back down to 1024x768, and thats on any station I work on.

I like being able to fit more on my screen.  ;D
